How to report blasphemous content on YouTube in Pakistan
This guide covers videos, comments and channels on YouTube. First report the content inside YouTube, then submit its link to BR Portal so the team can review and document it.
What you can report
You can report videos, comments and channels on YouTube that you believe contain blasphemous content. Menu names can differ slightly between app versions.
Step 1 – Report inside YouTube
- Open the video.
- Tap the three dots (⋯) or “More”, then “Report”.
- For a channel: open the About tab, tap the flag icon, then “Report user”.
- Choose the reason, add the timestamp if asked, and submit.
Step 2 – Copy the link and submit it to BR Portal
- Copy the link: Share → Copy link.
- Open the Quick Report box on the BR Portal homepage and paste the https:// link (up to 20 links, no login).
- Submit and copy your tracking ID.
Evidence worth keeping
- The full https:// link.
- Date, time and the username or page name.
- An unedited screenshot, if it is safe to take one.
After you report
Use the Track page with your tracking ID: Submitted means BR Portal received the report, Forwarded means it was passed on to the relevant authorities. YouTube decides separately what to do with the content after its own review.
